Challenge 2026: Each week in 2026, there will be a challenge - one practical way to live your faith. Week Forty-Two:  As I was looking ahead for this challenge, I realized that we are 10 weeks from the end of the year.  There are so many rich and beautiful traditions in these last 10 weeks for us to embrace.  But while it is beautiful to embrace our Catholic Faith on faith alone, it also helps to know the “why” behind what we believe.  For this week’s challenge, explore the why.  Apologetics is the reasoned defense of faith.  Look into Catholic Apologetics. Find a good book or podcast on apologetics.  Learn why we profess the Catholic faith.  After all, St Peter encourages us to “Always be prepared to make a defense to any one who calls you to account for the hope that is in you, yet do it with gentleness and reverence.” 1 Peter 3:15.  A few resources: Catholic Answers (website), Why We’re Catholic by Trent Horn (book), Stunned by Scripture, How the Bible Made Me Catholic by Dr John Bergsma (book and podcast), Pints with Aquinas by Matt Fradd (podcast),
