Challenge 2026: Each week in 2026, there will be a challenge - one practical way to live your faith. 
Week Forty-Four:  Happy All Saints Day!  Today, we celebrate the Church Victorious, those who have gone before us and rest in the eternal presence of God.  What benefit is it for us to celebrate the Communion of Saints?  This is our family that has already run the race.  They made it to the finish line, and now they are cheering us on.  They can’t run the race for us, but their encouragement and support can give us the boost we need to run our own race well and cross the finish line.  God blessed us to be a part of the Body of Christ and the Souls of the Faithfully Departed are a part of that body.  We don’t need to cut out a part of the body.  Instead, we can embrace the richness of our faith, the gift of those who have gone before us, and the realization that our race will end, too, someday.  Celebrate the Saints today!  Pray for the Souls in Purgatory tomorrow!  Make this Hallowtide look different from every other day of the year as you celebrate God’s gift of a family that includes the Saints and Souls in Purgatory.
